Tournament Rules

Tournament Entry Fee is $450/team for a 4 game guarantee - 2 pool play + double elimination. Register via RegisterASA or mail in your registration information. Team registrations must be received by Monday, July 20th. No entries will be accepted after this date.

Registration Requirements: Team Information Form, Official Tournament Entry Form, Team Stats,
ACE Certification, Pick-Up Player (if applicable), 2 Sided ASA Roster Signed by Your Commissioner, Travel Permit, Payment in Full, ASA ID Cards, Coaches Cards, and Team Photo.

Team Check-in will be Sunday, July 26th, 8 AM – 8 PM at the host hotel Embassy Suites, 2577 W. Greenway Rd, Phoenix, AZ. All players must be present and in uniform at check-in and team photos will be taken at this time.  Gate passes, extra coach breakfast tickets, souvenirs and t-shirts will be available for purchase during registration. Pre-sale orders may be picked up at this time. ALL COACHES AND ATHLETES MUST BE PRESENT AT REGISTRATION WITH PHOTO ID PER ASA CODE. Late check in is for individuals with travel issues who have to arrive last minute. Players must have their photo IDs and check in with a registered coach present. Coach must supply a list of possible late arrivals including specific names and arrival times during their team check in.

Practice Fields/Scrimmage Games are available Sunday and Monday, 8 AM – Noon, for one hour each. Scrimmage games come with one umpire. Fee is $50/team and played at Rose Mofford Softball Complex (main site). Player Ice-Cream Social/Coach Hospitality Suite will be Sunday, July 26th, 6–8 PM at Embassy Suites. Coaches will have a special hospitality suite off to the side of the social.

Coach Breakfast will be at 9:00 AM on Monday, July 27th. We are excited about having Clint Myers, ASU Head Softball Coach, as our guest speaker.

Opening Ceremonies will take place Monday, July 27th, 6:30–8:30 PM at Phoenix Municipal Stadium, 5999 E Van Buren St, Phoenix, AZ, approximately 25 minutes east of the Embassy Suites. Pin trading will take place. More Info

Gift Exchange -- In keeping with softball tradition, each team is requested to bring a simple player gift to exchange with their first pool play team at the beginning of the tournament. We recommend planning for 15 players on the average. Gifts should be representative of your local area.

Pool Play Bracket Draw will be held prior to the tournament and pool game dates and times will be posted on the website as soon as the draw is complete.

Elimination Draw is scheduled to take place Wednesday evening at Embassy Suites.

Visiting College Coaches - There will be several college coaches observing throughout our tournament. Each team is requested to complete a Player Stat Sheet to be compiled into the Tournament Program for visiting coaches. Click here to download the Stat Sheet and email the completed sheet to Lee Ann Witt.

Heat Alert - We will do our best not to play games during 1–5 PM due to the extreme heat.
