2005  Phoenix ASA JO Metro Championship Point System
Points are awarded to all teams who compete in Phoenix ASA JO Tournaments
leading up to the Metro Championships.
Total points earned are used to seed teams into Metros.
Points are awarded on a 100 point system, with a 5 point decrement.
Points are awarded in Invitational Tournaments only, and the following applies to
those tournaments:
* Points awarded only apply toward the metro division you compete in at Metros.
* Teams select their competitive level by the roster freeze date or their first appearance
in championship play.
* A 20 point bonus will be awarded to teams playing up in division, when their rostered players
all are within the lower division's age requirements.
* A team playing up in division must finish in the top half of elimination play to be allowed
to play up again.
* A team that elects to play up and utilizes out of age players will not receive bonus points
and any points awarded will be shown in the upper age division.
Example:  If the total number of 14 and under teams playing in the JO Kickoff tournament
was 10, then the winner of the tournament for that age would receive 100 points toward Metros.

* Note 1:  'Get Out' receives 20 bonus points, which will show in the 12 and under division,
because they are a 12 and under team playing with all 12 and under players in the 14 and under division.
** Note 2:  'Crusherz' receive 70 points in the 14 and under division, but because they are a 12 and under team
that added a 14 and under player for this tournament, will not receive bonus points, and because they did
not finish in the upper half of the finish, will not be allowed to play up again this season.
