Grand Canyon University and Phoenix ASA are excited to announce a joint skills clinic on Saturday, January 7, 2006 at the Grand Canyon Softball Field. The clinic will be held in three sessions of two hours each and will be limited to the first 40 participants in each session and includes a T-shirt. Cost of each session will be $40.00. The session schedule is as follows: SESSION 1 - 8:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. Defensive Skills SESSION 2 - 10:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. Pitching and Catching SESSION 3 - 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. Hitting and Bunting Coach Ann Pedersen and her staff at Grand Canyon University will be running the clinic. Coach Pedersen is a great coach and teacher and is highly knowledgeable about the skills required to play fastpitch softball at all levels. ASA is very excited to co-sponsor this clinic and to be associated with Grand Canyon University. We are looking forward to a great day of learning and fun at the clinic. All participants in the clinic must be ASA registered or purchase 1 day insurance at the clinic. The cost of the insurance for one day is $8.00. My name is Brian Duggin and I am the Phoenix ASA Deputy JO Commissioner. I will be handling all of the registration, payment, and insurance for the clinic. Please email me with your intention to attend the clinic, which session(s) you want to attend, and whether you are ASA registered. After I have received each email I will send a confirmation email back to you. Then print out the Entry form and mail the form and check to the address on the Entry form within 5 days. If the session is full, I will put you on a waiting list and notify you if I have a cancellation. Please do not send money if I have put you on the waiting list.
